Welcome to Crisis Nurseries of Minnesota, Inc.

Mission Statement

Crisis Nurseries of Minnesota, Inc. exists to strengthen, develop, assist and support crisis nurseries in the state of Minnesota; to increase public awareness of crisis nurseries; and to provide quality services to families throughout the state.

Minnesota’s crisis nurseries are built on the resources available in their communities. While each program is unique, together, they share a common philosophical foundation and offer the same basic services. Their common belief is that all families need support in times of crisis. Their common dedication is to provide support to prevent child abuse and neglect, reduce isolation, and to promote stronger, healthier families. Basic services include a 24-hour crisis help line, service at no cost, child care options including weekend, evening and drop-in care for 72 hours of continuous care or five days of hourly care, resources, referrals and parent education.
